If you’re like us, you have a countdown to Memorial Day and the unofficial start of summer at your desk. We can’t wait for warmer days, beach vacations and long afternoons in the backyard with family and friends. While we love that the warmer weather means barbeques and ice cream trips, we try to balance these indulgences with healthier options. Because no one feels good on an all ice cream diet.

Here are some of the simple ways we’ll be eating better this month:

But first, breakfast

Jumping in the car for a weekend away or just making a day trip to the beach? Skip the drive-through and fuel up with a quick and nutritious breakfast at home. Our egg white patties are ready-to-eat in just 80 seconds and come packed with 6g of protein to keep you satisfied. Enjoy them with whole grain toast and some seasonal veggies like radishes or spinach.

Food truck temptation

Save the fried taco or greasy pizza from your go-to food truck for a special occasion or Friday treat. For the week, plan on packing a delicious and wholesome lunch.
