More hours of sunlight, warmer temperatures, and hopefully, a few vacation days – the summer means more time spent outdoors. In between our beach naps and afternoon picnics, we try to take advantage of summer’s great weather by staying active and taking our daily workouts outside. After all, going for a run is much more enticing when there’s not two feet of snow on the ground.

Here are some tips to help you stay active this summer, whether you’re at home or away.




Walk to your favorite breakfast spot instead of driving, plan an outdoor yoga happy-hour with friends, or take a sunset stroll after dinner – there are so many easy ways to stay active that don’t impact your schedule or require a gym. You’ll enjoy the summer more and feel stronger when it’s over.
