This Bacon & Egg Breakfast Crescent Ring is an easy, tasty, and beautiful way to serve breakfast. Who doesn’t love bacon, eggs, cheese, and organic veggies wrapped inside a pillowy, buttery crescent roll? It’s a sure way to please family and friends alike at your brunch this weekend.

This breakfast crescent ring is not only very easy and delicious, but it also makes for great leftovers. Simply microwave or toast the leftover crescent rings, and you have a weekday breakfast ready in minutes! No more scrambling to grab something to eat before getting the kids off to school.

Not a fan of bacon? Then you’re in luck! We have two other scramble bowls that would be just as delicious in this recipe? You could go with our Turkey Sausage Scramble Bowl or our Southwestern Veggie Scramble Bowl. We love to dip the Southwestern Veggie version into a nice fresh salsa! YUM!

You can serve the breakfast crescent rings as a stand-alone item. But we would highly recommend serving them with some fresh sliced fruit, yogurt, or another sweet breakfast option of choice. There is nothing more tantalizing to the tastebuds than a sweet and savory combo!

Our Bacon Scramble Bowl and some extra cheese make the perfect filling for this easy-to-make Bacon & Egg Breakfast Crescent Ring.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Pillsbury Crescent Rolls 8 rolls per container
  • 3 Uncured Bacon Scramble Bowls
  • 1 cup cheese shredded
  • 1 large bacon & egg scramble bowls for egg wash, optional
  • green onion for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Cook your 3 Uncured Bacon Scramble Bowls for 2 minutes each.
  • Lay our your crescent rolls on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet in a star shape.
  • Evenly divide your scramble bowls between the crescent rolls and then topped with shredded cheese. *Place the scramble bowls in a circle around the center of the star leaving the pointy edges of the crescent rolls empty.
  • Fold your crescent rolls over and brush will egg wash if desired. (The egg wash will give the crescent rolls a nice golden color)
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden.
  • Serve immediately with fresh fruit.

What do you do when you don’t have a lot of ingredients on hand? You get creative and use what you’ve got! This Bacon Scramble and Veggie Frittata was the product of “using what was in the fridge and freezer.” The result? A DELICIOUS breakfast option!

Life is hard right now, and finding all of your favorite ingredients can be challenging. But, that shouldn’t stop you from starting your day with a nutritious breakfast. It just requires a little more creativity. If you keep your freezer stock with your favorite frozen meals, then recipes like this should be a breeze!

The great thing about frittatas is that they are versatile when it comes to ingredients and when it comes to the meal in which you are enjoying them. This one-pan meal idea works for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

We went with cherry tomatoes, spinach, and cheese as mix-ins with the bacon scramble bowl, but feel free to use your favorites! Broccoli, kale, peppers, and onions are all delicious veggie options. You can add in more bacon or sausage. Other cheeses such as feta and goat cheese give this a nice tang.

You can also swap out the bacon bowl for our Southwestern Veggie bowl to keep it vegetarian! Yes, we’ve got something for everyone around here! If you can’t find our Bacon Scramble bowl, the Turkey Sausage Bowl works just as well!

Serving

The Bacon Scramble and Veggie Frittata is delicious on its own! But, if you want to make a full brunch spread, we would recommend serving it with fresh fruit and oven-roasted potatoes. For lunch or dinner, try serving it with a side salad and a crusty piece of bread, if available.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Bacon Scramble bowl
  • 3 large egs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes sliced
  • 1 large handful spinach
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp avocado oil or oil of choice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cook Bacon Scramble Bowl according to package directions. Set aside to cool.
  • Whisk together your eggs and milk.
  • Lightly oil a cast-iron skillet and place on the stovetop over medium heat.
  • Add your scramble bowl, tomatoes, and spinach to the skillet. Mix until spinach begins to wilt.
  • Add in half of your cheese and egg/milk mixture to the skillet.
  • Mix and then top with remaining cheese.
  • Place your skillet in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until set and golden.
  • Allow to cool slightly before slicing.

This easy to make Bacon, Egg and Cheese Quiche has all of your favorite breakfast foods cooked inside one buttery, golden crust. It looks fancy, but it is really quite simple, especially if you are using a pre-made crust!

This can be made right before you want to serve it or made in advance for a holiday or brunch gathering. It also works well as a meal prep recipe! Once it is cooked, just slice it up and serve it with a side of fresh fruit, a steamed vegetable or a garden salad.

Enjoy this quiche doesn’t stop at breakfast, either! This is just as nice served for lunch or even brinner (breakfast for dinner)! The combination of eggs, diced potatoes, bacon, and gruyere is out of this world! And, our time-saving hack? The Bacon Egg Scramble Bowl! It already has diced potatoes, bacon, and tons of seasonings, so there is very little else you need to add! However, the combinations don’t end there! You can add in any vegetables of choice (this is a great way to use up leftovers or things that are about to spoil).

If you will be serving this to a vegetarian-based crowd you can easily swap the Bacon Egg Scramble Bowl for our Southwestern Veggie Scramble Bowl! This bowl is loaded with black beans, corn, salsa, and tons of delicious Mexican inspired flavors. Serve this variety with some fresh sliced avocado and pico for an international twist!

  • 4 Bacon Egg Scramble Bowls, slightly thawed
  • 1 large onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese of choice, we used gruyere
  • salt and pepper, as desired

Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch pre-made pie crust gluten-free, if needed
  • 4 bacon & egg scramble bowls slightly thawed
  • 1 large onion peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese of choice*
  • salt and pepper as desired

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Roll your pie crust into a pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  • While crust is baking, use a fork and break up your bacon and egg scramble bowls so no large clumps remain.
  • Heat your oil in a skillet and sautee your onions until golden.
  • Add your eggs, milk, salt, and pepper to a bowl and whisk well.
  • Fold in your onions, crumbled bacon Egg Scramble Bowls, and shredded cheese.
  • Pour into your pie crust.
  • Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until your crust is golden and your center is set.

Notes

You can add in any veggies that you would like, too! Spinach, asparagus, kale, etc. are all great choices!
